Jamey Collins
Senior Pastor
Jamey has been in full-time ministry since 1998 and became the pastor of Jamestown in 2014. A native of South Carolina, he is a graduate of North Greenville University. He is the proud husband of Paula and the father of three amazing boys—Noah, Nickolas, and Cooper. Jamey loves music, golf, and cheering for the South Carolina Gamecocks, but his greatest joy comes from seeing someone come to know Christ.
Preston Bishop
Youth and Young Adults Pastor
Preston is the newest staff member at JBC, coming to us in October of 2024. A native of Easley, SC, he graduated from North Greenville University in May 2024. He is passionate about evangelizing, discipling, and mobilizing the next generation for the glory of Christ’s kingdom. Preston is engaged to Rebekah, whom he will marry in May 2026. In his free time, he enjoys reading, music, and cheering for the Clemson Tigers.
Jeremy Gault
Discipleship and Outreach Pastor
Pastor Jeremy and his family come to us from Georgetown, SC, though originally from Spartanburg. He has a heart for ministry, discipleship, and outreach. Since 2012, he has served in various roles, including family and youth ministry and as an interim pastor. He holds a Master’s in Christian Ministry and a Master of Divinity from North Greenville University. Jeremy and his wife, Amanda, have been married since 2005 and have one son, Isaac. Passionate about seeing lives changed, he leads JBC in outreach and discipleship.
Megan Cook
Children's Director
Megan began her walk with the Lord at the age of five. She was blessed with loving, godly parents who taught her the importance of a personal relationship with Jesus and faithful church involvement. She finds joy in teaching children about Jesus and how to have a relationship with Him. Megan is married to Jared, and they have two sons, Judsen and Maxson. Originally from Pennsylvania, they moved to Aynor in August 2022. In her free time, she enjoys running and reading.
Melissa Norris
Ministry Assistant
Melissa works part-time in the church office, serving staff, church members, and others by providing assistance with administrative matters. A native of Horry County, she graduated from Aynor High School and Horry-Georgetown Technical College. She and her husband have two children and six grandchildren. An active member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church, Melissa enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with her wonderful family.
Lynn Smith
Financial Specialist
Lynn works in the church office, providing assistance with the church's finances. She is married to Bobby, and they have two grown daughters and one grandson.
